MultiFusion 0.7.2: Echo match strength and notarized macOS installers

MultiFusion Server 0.7.2 and MultiFusion Analytics Worker 0.2.2 are out today.

MultiFusion Echo: match strength

Echo finds the same person on your other cameras. Each sighting is now weighed against the closest look-alikes of both people, so a stranger in similar clothes does not pass for the person you are following. Every sighting is labelled Strong match or Likely match, beside its likeness.

The worker also gives Echo’s model each person’s whole body, head to feet, exactly as the model was trained.

Measured on Market-1501, a public benchmark of 746 people filmed by six cameras:

  • the same person is ranked first on another camera 79% of the time;
  • the sightings Echo shows are the right person 94–100% of the time, from 150 to 3,200 people in the search;
  • at the same strictness, Echo finds the person three times as often as with likeness alone.

Notarized for macOS

The macOS installers for MultiFusion Server (Apple silicon and Intel) and the Analytics Worker are notarized by Apple. Every program and library inside is signed with Freaquer’s Developer ID, so the installers open with a double-click.

Availability

MultiFusion Server 0.7.2 is available for macOS (Apple silicon and Intel), Windows and Linux (x86-64 and arm64), and the Analytics Worker 0.2.2 for macOS (Apple silicon), Windows and Linux (x86-64), from the Download Center. An installed 0.7.1 upgrades in place, with its cameras, recordings, watch lists and audit trail kept.
