Whitepaper

Air-Gapped by Design

Video security that runs with no internet

Many government and critical-infrastructure sites in India must run video security on networks with no internet path. This paper shows what that means for MultiFusion: it installs, licenses, updates and runs with no connection at all, and every feature that can reach the internet is listed, with which ones can be switched off. It closes with a checklist for an air-gapped site and states what is not available yet.

  • Offline install
  • Offline licensing
  • Offline updates
  • Outbound connections listed
  • Air-gap checklist
Cover of Evidence You Can Prove PDF

Whitepaper · MF-WP-03 · Version 1.0

Evidence You Can Prove

Signed exports and a tamper-evident audit trail

When video goes to a court or an inquiry, the first question is whether anyone could have changed it. This paper explains what a MultiFusion evidence package contains, how a court, auditor or investigating officer can check it with standard tools and no MultiFusion software, what a signature proves and what it does not, and good practice for keeping the audit trail trustworthy.

  • Signed evidence packages
  • Independent verification
  • Tamper-evident audit trail
  • What a signature proves
  • Good practice

Honest Sizing

Measured versus estimated analytics capacity

Analytics capacity is the number buyers most need and the one vendors most often leave vague. This paper sets out MultiFusion's policy: every capacity figure is labelled measured or estimated, the current release and the roadmap are never mixed, and every estimate is confirmed on the delivered hardware before acceptance.

  • Measured and estimated figures
  • Today and planned
  • Acceptance on delivered hardware
  • Comparing offers

Whitepaper

Remote Access Without Open Ports

MultiFusion Tunnel

Many sites sit behind carrier-grade NAT, a mobile router or a firewall that its owner will not open. This paper describes MultiFusion Tunnel: remote access with one switch, no inbound firewall ports, no static IP and no certificate work — what it needs, what that means for a site, and how to turn it on and off. It is off by default and LAN access never depends on it.

  • No inbound ports
  • Works behind CGNAT
  • Automatic HTTPS address
  • Off by default
  • Requirements stated

Whitepaper

Resilience

Failover, clustering and low-disk operation

A video security system is judged on the day something goes wrong. This paper describes what MultiFusion does when a server is lost, a recorder goes silent, storage fails or fills, or an analytics computer runs short of disk — and how backups, restores and updates are handled. It also states plainly what is not covered today, so a site can plan around it.

  • Server failover
  • Recorder failover
  • Storage that protects itself
  • Low-disk operation
  • Stated limits

Research

Papers from the Freaquer Research Library that concern MultiFusion. They describe designs, methods and evaluations, some on simulated data, and each says so. They are not product specifications: what ships today, and its status, is on the product pages and datasheets above. Free to download.

V2X for India: the comprehensive C-V2X blueprint

India has allotted the 5.9 GHz safety band, de-licensed on-board units and chosen Cellular-V2X, with no roadside units deployed. This blueprint covers RSU architecture, the message set, SCMS security and fusion with the ATMS and VMS perception stack, phased so that everything before field hardware is testable software.

Cover of Position-dependent HSRP OCR normalisation for Indian number plates PDF

FRL-RP-33 · Research paper · June 2026

Position-dependent HSRP OCR normalisation for Indian number plates

The Indian HSRP format fixes which plate positions are letters and which are digits, so the common O/0, I/1, S/5, B/8 and Z/2 confusions can be corrected by position at zero inference cost. The paper formalises the rule and evaluates four variants on 10,000 simulated plates; the hybrid variant lifts plate accuracy from 31.2% to 84.1%.

A design paper; the hardware the current release supports is listed on the Analytics Worker page.

Cover of Camera and sensor occupancy fusion: a sensor-authoritative-per-bay rule for dense parking PDF

FRL-RP-32 · Research paper · June 2026

Camera and sensor occupancy fusion: a sensor-authoritative-per-bay rule for dense parking

Cameras give cheap aisle-level coverage but lose bays under occlusion; per-bay sensors give ground truth without context. The paper formalises a rule that trusts the sensor where one exists, falls back to the camera estimate and flags unknown bays for survey, with a greedy sensor-placement method evaluated on three parking layouts.
