Forensic suite

From a Recorder Export to a Report Another Examiner Can Repeat

The evidence path

One file, five steps, one record

  1. 01 Receive Convert A recorder export becomes standard video — no re-encoding, every file hashed.
  2. 02 Find Review Frame by frame: motion, people, vehicles and text; redact what must not be shown.
  3. 03 Make visible Clarify A documented chain of filters, measured before and after; lengths and speeds.
  4. 04 Authenticate Verify Structure, compression, camera noise and joins in sound — each check shown as evidence.
  5. 05 Report Investigate The case, its team and custody record, and a report in the reader’s language.

Workbench runs Review, Clarify and Verify on the same file in one workspace, with one report.

See it working

One demo case, from the call to the report

A cable theft at a substation: two camera exports, a seized phone's call recording and a register photo, examined with the suite. Every screen below is the product doing that work.

The demo case is staged: its CCTV clips, photos and the call's voices are AI-generated, and nobody shown is a real person.

Chain of custody

Built so the work can be checked

A finding is only as good as the record behind it. Every product keeps the original untouched and records what was done to it.

MultiFusion Investigate — the demo case's evidence: every file with its hashes, source and custody (demo case) demo case

Hashed on arrival

MD5, SHA-1 and SHA-256 of every evidence file, recorded when it arrives and checked again on export.

Every action recorded

Import, analysis, finding, movement and report — in order, with who did it and when.

Originals never changed

Work is kept in a project beside the file; every output says how it was made.

Repeatable

Filter chains and checks are saved with their settings, so another examiner gets the same result.

An export anyone can check

The evidence package carries its files, hashes and report together.

In the reader’s language

Screens and reports in English and Hindi; languages are data, so more can be added.

Where it runs

On your desk, your server and your workers

On the examiner’s desk

Review, Clarify, Verify, Convert and Workbench are desktop apps for Windows and Linux. They open evidence where it is and work offline.

  • No upload, no account
  • 30-day trial, then a licence file
  • Or a floating seat from your server

On your server

Investigate is served by MultiFusion Server: cases, teams, the custody record and reports in the browser, inside your network.

  • Comes with MultiFusion Server
  • Roles and audit log
  • Lends floating seats to the desktop apps

On your AI workers

Speech, sounds, vehicles and search by meaning run on your own Analytics Workers, with every model in the installer.

  • Nothing sent outside
  • Models installed offline
  • CPU, NVIDIA or Intel
1

Evidence to read, not a verdict

Maps, tables and measurements with what each one measures and its limits. The examiner decides.

2

Nothing leaves your network

Desktop apps work offline; the server and workers are yours. No vendor cloud is involved.

3

Documented methods

Each report names its methods, tools and models, so the work can be checked and repeated.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need all six products?

No. Each product works on its own: Convert for recorder exports, Review for playback and redaction, Clarify for enhancement, Verify for authentication. Workbench puts Review, Clarify and Verify in one workspace, and Investigate brings a team’s cases together on your server.

Does any of it need the internet?

No. The desktop apps run offline on the examiner’s computer, and Investigate runs on your own MultiFusion Server and Analytics Workers. Evidence is never uploaded anywhere.

Which operating systems?

The desktop apps install on Windows (64-bit) and Linux (Ubuntu 22.04 or later, Debian 12 or later). Investigate is used in the browser, served by MultiFusion Server.

How are the desktop apps licensed?

Each computer gets a 30-day trial once, then a licence file for that computer, checked offline. A MultiFusion Server can also lend floating seats, which an app borrows while it is open.

Is the bundled video engine open source?

The apps bundle FFmpeg builds, licensed under the GNU GPL v3; the licence ships with every app, with a written offer of the source.
